Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Jewelry CAD Artist to join our dynamic team. The senior Jewelry CAD Artist will be responsible for transforming creative concepts into detailed and precise digital designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of diamond jewelry design. Key Responsibilities: Design Creation: ❖ Develop detailed and accurate 3D models of jewelry designs using CAD software. ❖ Translate artistic concepts and sketches into technical designs that can be manufactured. Technical Drawings and Specifications: ❖ Create precise technical drawings and specifications for each design, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions. ❖ Ensure all designs meet the technical standards and requirements for production. Prototyping and 3D Printing: ❖ Prepare CAD files for prototyping and 3D printing to create physical models of jewelry designs. ❖ Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine prototypes and ensure accuracy. Quality Control: ❖ Review and revise CAD designs to ensure high quality and precision. ❖ Conduct thorough checks to identify and correct any design flaws or inconsistencies. Documentation and Archiving: ❖ Maintain organized records of all CAD designs, technical drawings, and related documentation. ❖ Archive completed designs for future reference and use. Communication and Feedback: ❖ Communicate effectively with team members, including designers, jewelers, and production staff. ❖ Provide regular updates on design progress and address any issues or concerns promptly. Innovation and Trend Awareness: ❖ Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in jewelry design and CAD software. ❖ Experiment with new techniques and tools to enhance design quality and efficiency. Project Management: ❖ Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines. ❖ Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and production. Software Proficiency: ❖ Maintain proficiency in the latest CAD software and tools used in jewelry design. ❖ Continuously improve skills and stay informed about software updates and new features. ❖ Utilize CAD software (such as Rhino, Matrix, Blender, ZBrush or similar) to create accurate and detailed digital models of jewellery designs, incorporating diamonds and other precious stones. Experience & Qualifications: ❖ Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design, Industrial Design, or related field. ❖ 5 years of experience as a CAD designer in the jewellery industry, with a focus on diamond jewellery preferred. ❖ Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely. ❖ Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming design challenges. ❖ Portfolio showcasing previous CAD design work, with an emphasis on diamond jewellery designs. ❖ Passion for the diamond industry and a commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and design. Accounting & Finance Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports. Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP systems. Manage accounts receivable/payable. Invoicing & Documentation Generate sales/purchase invoices for domestic and export transactions. Ensure documentation complies with customs, DGFT, and diamond bourse regulations. Maintain export-import documentation including shipping bills, packing lists, and bills of entry. Import-Export Compliance Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and logistics partners. Track export realization and file relevant forms (e.g., EDF, BRC). Manage diamond parcel clearance and valuation reports. Taxation File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and on time. Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns (Form 26Q, 16A, etc.). Maintain reconciliation of GST and TDS ledgers with books. E-Way Bills & Legal Compliance Generate and manage E-Way bills for domestic goods movement. Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations (Income Tax, GST, Customs). Assist in audits, assessments, and legal documentation.
